In fact, a famous manga artist once drew her despite not being a fan because of how popular her fancam was on YouTube.
Sui Ishida a manga artist, the creator of Tokyo Ghoul made a sketch of aespa's Winter. He shared that he doesn't really know her or the group that much but he saw a video of her on youtube, she was beautiful so he drew her. He also added her dance is good. 😇 https://t.co/QVUittoJJJ

A new blog post by a Korean fan is gaining in popularity as it explains the possible reason why this may be so. Winter, in short, has the type of soft and cool visuals that are popular abroad.
In the teasers of the group’s incoming My World album as an example, she looked like an anime character come to life.
She was even considered the girl version of Haku from the 2001 animated film Spirited Away thanks to her short dark hair and v-line face.
Besides anime, these film-like photos also gave off the same vibes as indie Japanese movies. Fans noticed, “She has that comic book-type beauty and cuteness that Japanese people like so of course she’s popular.”
Winter has classically beautiful features that make her memorable no matter where she is!
My World is the upcoming mini album of aespa. It contains six tracks which include the pre-release single “Welcome to My World.” The full album will be released on May 8, 2023.
