Aespa’s Winter, LE SSERAFIM’s Sakura, and (G)I-DLE’s Shuhua “Share A Stylist” With Same Dress For Latest Comebacks
Fourth-generation girl groups aren’t just topping the charts together right now — they’re also sharing closets. In the past week alone, aespa‘s Winter, LE SSERAFIM‘s Sakura, and (G)I-DLE‘s Shuhua have all worn the same dress to promote their latest comebacks.
The piece in question is the Chelsea Denim Kilt Mini Dress by JADED London, a streetwear-inspired brand that’s all the rage right now. Iconic in design, this retro-style dress features a corset bodice top and pleated mini skirt bottom, both highlighted by two bold, detachable belts.
The dress is part of the brand’s S/S 2023 range, the 411 Collection. According to JADED London, the collection “is a fusion of nostalgic early-2000’s silhouettes and modern feminine details” — perfect for all the Y2K-themed releases in K-Pop lately.
Relatively affordable by K-Pop styling standards, the Chelsea Denim Kilt Mini Dress costs just $105 USD, but these idols made it look expensive AF.
Shuhua was the first of the three seen wearing the dress, which she donned for (G)I-DLE’s latest comeback, “Queencard,” which was released on May 15.
Shuhua wore the dress in the music video’s White Chicks-inspired scene, which makes sense given the 2000s link. Her look was completed with a similarly retro chunky heart necklace and black ankle boots.
Then, Sakura wore the dress on the May 18 episode of Mnet‘s M COUNTDOWN, where LE SSERAFIM performed their new title track, “Unforgiven.”
Sakura wore the dress with white cowboy boots, making it the perfect fit for their comeback’s wild west concept. JADED London seems to be a perfect fit for “Unforgiven,” with Eunchae donning the brand’s $98 USD Denim Assassin Micro Mini Skirt for the same performance.
Finally, and most recently, Winter wore the dress on today’s episode of SBS Inkigayo, where aespa took the win for their new song “Spicy.”
Given the comeback’s LA high teen concept, Winter’s dress fits the theme perfectly. Unlike the other stars, her look was paired with a bold accessory — a brown Blumarine scarf.
The trio’s sudden matching styling has fans joking that all three idols must share the same stylist, with many dubbing the look “The Sisterhood of the Travelling Dress.” That said, even though they all wore the same piece, they still rocked the look in their own unique and gorgeous ways.
