Aespa’s Winter Spills On The “SYNK: HYPER LINE” Moment That Didn’t Go According To Plan
After over two years since their debut, SM Entertainment‘s 4th-gen girl group aespa finally held their first in-person concert, and they filled Jamsil Indoor Arena in Seoul on February 25 and 26 (KST) during their SYNK: HYPER LINE concert.
MYs and aespa’s senior idols, such as TVXQ, Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon, SHINee‘s Minho and Key, NCT’s Haechan, Jisung and Renjun, B.I, and many other fellow SM Entertainment artists attended their show across the two nights, proving aespa’s star power.

aespa treated fans to a set list of their hit songs, adorable interactions between the members, touching moments that showed the aespa members’ true personalities, and surprise solo stages and performances of unreleased songs.
Aside from the solo stages, Winter had another surprise in store for MYs. Winter unexpectedly became a rock star, appearing on stage to perform “Girls” with an electric guitar.
While speaking with the audience on the second day of their concert, Winter opened up about the behind-the-scenes preparations for her surprise electric guitar performance.
aespa’s Karina asked the crowd how the performance was and revealed that Winter practiced her rockstar moment until her fingers bled.
Winter confirmed that she diligently practiced the performance and mapped out each move she was going to make and exactly where she would stand.
While she effortlessly pulled it off, Winter revealed that not everything went according to plan. Standing on the lift for the concert, she got “so scared” that she slipped a little.

Luckily, Winter’s professionalism meant that the crowd couldn’t even tell she had slipped as she nailed her performance.
