Ahn Hyo Seop’s Caring K-Drama Persona Is Not Just An Act — It’s His Real Character

We couldn’t get enough of the Webtoon adapted K-Drama Business Proposal and its charming cast! 

The SBS drama follows Shin Ha Ri (Kim Sejeong), who pretends to be her friend on a blind date. However, that blind date happens to be with the CEO of her company, Kang Tae Moo (Ahn Hyo Seop)! The troubles start when Tae Moo unexpectedly sets his eyes on marrying Ha Ri, still thinking she is her friend.

Not surprisingly, Business Proposal viewers have been falling in love with Ahn Hyo Seop as Kang Tae Moo, as he continually raised standards for men.

He’s a true gentleman.

Honestly, Tae Moo is the standard. But it turns out that Ahn Hyo Seop and his character aren’t too far off and have many things in common. They’re both quite the gentlemen!

SBS released behind-the-scenes clips from the filming of Business Proposal, and Hyo Seop’s behavior in-between takes proved his true personality. He’s just as sweet, if not sweeter than Tae Moo!

During the filming for Episode 3, the two leads were outside on a bright sunny day. So Ahn Hyo Seop attempted to block some sun from Sejeong’s face!

Ahn Hyo Seop: (Blocks the sunlight for her) (Worried) Close your eyes.

There were many chaotic moments in Business Proposal, and Sejeong has to do lots of physical comedy. Still, she accidentally tripped on set one day, and Hyo Seop rushed over to help her and concerningly asked if she was okay!

Ahn Hyo Seop frequently showed his concern for his co-star’s well-being. In the filming for Episode 5, Kim Sejeong wears a beautiful strappy dress. In contrast to his three-piece suit, it’s quite small. He recognized that she could be cold, especially considering it was winter in Korea during filming. So, he gave her his coat in between takes.
