AKMU’s Suhyun Gives Hilariously Honest Response To Fans Asking If She Wants Tattoos And More
On June 1, AKMU‘s Suhyun posted an Instagram story telling her fans that they could ask her anything. She then chose a couple and answered honestly.
In one question, a fan asked, “Are you interested in tattoos?” Tattoos in South Korea are still quite controversial, as the country continues to associate tattoos with negative stereotypes. Suhyun technically still lives with her parents, who are devout Christians. They’ve even gone to Mongolia as missionaries!
It’s either getting the tattoo carved into my skin or my name being carved out of the family registry.

Her response made fans laugh, as many of them could relate to the struggle of having a parent who doesn’t like tattoos.
Suhyun also responded to several questions involving her brother (the second half of AKMU), Chanhyuk. Fans asked things like, “Do you talk to your brother, Chanhyuk, often?” and “How do you have such a good relationship even though you’re siblings?”
Suhyun shared that she calls Chanhyuk a lot, but it’s mostly to talk about work. She said that she spoke to him just the day before the question was asked. She even showed her call log as proof, where fans noticed his name in her phone was “happy man.”
As for the second question, she simply stated, “My brother treats me well,” and included a childhood photo of them together.
To finish her Q&A, Suhyun left some advice to a fan who asked how to stop feeling depressed.
I think ‘this is the bottom?’ So the only thing left is to go up.
