2018’s Miss Vietnam Is Blowing Everyone’s Minds With Her Stunning Visuals
An 18-year-old student at the Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education became Miss Vietnam 2018 and is one of the youngest winners in the competition’s 30-year history.
Trần Tiểu Vy of Quảng Nam province is 1.74m tall (5′ 8″ feet) and has bust-waist-hip measurements of 84-63-90cm.
She beat out 42 other contestants in a national contest promoting beauty, knowledge and kindness, and was crowned with 30 pearls, which represent 30 years of the beauty pageant, and 3,260 sapphires, which represent 3,260 kilometers of Vietnam’s coastline.
She received a cash award of 500 million Vietnamese dong (US$21,700).
The runner up, Bui Phuong Nga, is a second-year finance student at the National Economics University.
Trần Tiểu Vy looks glamorous on stage, but her social media shows a typical, fun-loving 18-year-old.
She showed her youth when she was interviewed after her win, answering shyly with only short answers.
Le Xuan Son, the head of the pageant’s organization board, came to her defense and said she was “young and shocked”.
Trần Tiểu Vy will represent Vietnam in the upcoming global competition Miss World 2018.
