A.R.M.Y Praised For Protecting BTS At Airports By Creating “Purple Ribbon” Barriers
BTS fans showed their devotion to the group once again by starting up a “Purple Ribbon Project”. A.R.M.Ys created barriers with purple ribbons to prevent the members from getting trampled on while traveling through airports.
A group of A.R.M.Ys began a movement called #PurpleRibbonARMY, where fans would volunteer to hold up a line barricade of purple ribbons to create a wide passageway for the members to safely check in at the airport.
#BTSARMY please help us pass the word!!
If you are going to meet @BTS_twt at the Vegas airport please wear purple so we know you're willing to help and support the #PurpleRibbonARMY project!

They chose the color purple, because V once stated that the color stands for love and trust.
“Purple is the last color of the rainbow; it means i will trust & love you for a long time.” — V
Fans recently held up a purple ribbon line at the Los Angeles airport, where they kept a safe distance between the BTS members and fans/press.
I had someone record for me to show everyone @ProtectionArmy squad held their ground while hold #PurpleRibbonARMY. You hear me continue saying “hold the line.” Here’s proof NOBODY got through from here. We made THIS happened. #ProudOfMySquad 😊✌🏻 (@BTS_twt) #iVoteBTSBBMAs pic.twitter.com/FuVsQdMOJK

Fellow A.R.M.Ys and netizens around the world praised the fandom for their hard work and dedication to BTS.

To the people who organized the #PurpleRibbonARMY project, y'all did the gods work and I hope no one misunderstands this disappointment which is only caused by those who ripped the ribbons and ran after BTS.

Having a bodyguard/security personnel tweet the #PurpleRibbonArmy that our volunteers at LAX did well & were helpful is such an honor. That’s why we do it — to help BTS and support official security. That’s what really matters.
