But perhaps the most unexpected part of his set was Bang Si Hyuk joining him on stage, accompanying J.Y. Park on the guitar as he sang old hits like “I Have A Girlfriend” and “Lie,” among many others. According to the JYP founder, the two were performing together after 22 years.

While this collaboration was significant for many reasons, given that the two are now the heads of two leading K-Pop companies, it seems that netizens were not too impressed by their performance. Some people in the crowd even booed the two when Bang Si Hyuk came out on stage.

Netizens have posted scathing remarks about the performance. While some had an issue with the controversies the two of them are involved in, others simply didn’t like the performance material. Overall, the reaction online has not been favorable to J.Y. Park and Bang Si Hyuk’s joint stage.
