BLACKPINK’s Jennie And Red Velvet’s Seulgi Rocked The Biker Shorts Trend But Served Totally Different Vibes
Shortly after celebrities like Kim Kardashian wore biker shorts to dress up or dress down their outfits, many idols jumped onto the trend. Red Velvet‘s Seulgi and BLACKPINK‘s Jennie were among them and rocked the trendy look in unique ways to suit their styles.
When Red Velvet performed at the LG V50 ThinQ Game Festival, Seulgi did so in style. The singer showed off her S-line figure in biker shorts and a crop top layered beneath a button-up.
Seulgi maintained the perfect balance between casual and glamorous with the gold accented belt on the biker shorts and gold earrings. The classic colors of black and white also kept the look stylish.
On the other hand, Jennie’s look was more casual, leaning into the sporty look. In her Instagram posts, the idol wore black biker shorts but paired them with an oversized blue button-up. She added white sneakers to the look for even more contrast.
Jennie even dressed down the biker shorts for another look. She paired them with a colorful tie-dye hoodie, white shirt, and white sneakers.
Showing her versatility, Jennie wore a similar look to Seulgi for the cover of Dazed Korea magazine. She took the trend over the top by layering chunky Chanel belts, fingerless gloves, and a classic black hat.
