“Squid Game” Actor Anupam Tripathi Shares His First Impression Of BLACKPINK’s Jennie
BLACKPINK‘s Jennie has millions of fans and one of them is actor Anupam Tripathi.
Anupam Tripathi rose to fame for his role as Ali on Netflix‘s Squid Game.
In the midst of violent death games, Ali showed selflessness and loyalty that earned him fans, both in the show and off-screen.
In Episode 163 of Melon Station, Anupam Tripathi talked about meeting Jennie on set. Being a BLINK, he was thrilled to meet the star in person, and he had nothing but good things to say about her.
“I met Jennie when she visited the set,” he told the show’s hosts. “It was different than meeting an actor. I even got an autograph. I was so happy; it felt like I was meeting a rockstar.”
Jennie certainly loves her fans and friends! In July 2020, when Squid Game began filming, Jennie sent a food truck to the set to support her friend, actress Jung Ho Yeon, and her castmates.
