BLACKPINK’s Jennie Wore The Same Mini Skirt As A Runway Model With An Unexpected Twist, Serving Completely Different Vibes

As the darling of several designer and luxury brands, including Chanel, Jennie often wears the most fashion-forward pieces on stage and off.
Jennie’s stunning visuals have made it possible for her to wear anything and make it fashionable. This skill came into play recently when she wore the same skirt as a runway model and was able to rock the look in a completely different way.
As part of their S23 fashion show, The Hypnotic Excess, Aniye Records introduced a variety of pink and red vampire-inspired pieces. One of the pieces, a red skirt featuring a 3D heart, was included in the opening look for the show. The skirt is currently sold out and retailed for $424 USD.
The model wore the skirt with a pair of red thigh-high stockings, a cropped blazer, and long sleeved cropped shirt. This look truly embodied the idea of a vampire, with the sleeves giving an Interview With The Vampire feel.
Jennie wore the skirt at BLACKPINK’s Born Pink world tour date in Abu Dhabi during her performance of “You&Me.” While the skintight skirt could have caused issues for the idol if it was worn normally, Jennie was able to perform with no issues as she wore it as a crop top!
The skirt was altered to function as a top and gave more mobility than it would have as a skirt. Jennie normally goes for a ballerina vibe during her solo, and this alteration helped her keep this same vibe, completely at odds with how the model wore it for the fashion show.
