BLACKPINK's Jisoo Showed How Much She Loves BLINKs By Apologizing To A Specific Group Of Fans Who Attended Their "BORN PINK" Concerts

BLACKPINK recently released the tenth episode of their “B.P.M Roll” YouTube series. Here, they shared clips of what goes on behind the scenes of their BORN PINK world tour. The latest video took place in Newark, New Jersey, last November 2022.

Included here was an honest confession from eldest member Jisoo. She filmed herself on Day 1 of the concert eating a burger. It was three hours before she hit the stage.

She noted just how important it is for her to fill her stomach in order to sing and dance to the best of her abilities. As such, she apologized to fans who attended the BORN PINK concerts when she did not follow her own advice.

Without food, I can’t get any energy. I feel sorry to BLINKs who came on the days that I didn’t eat well.

She acknowledged that BLACKPINK seldom meets fans in person and so she felt that she owed them a better performance. The pandemic in particular delayed many chances to sing in front of an audience of BLINKs, leading to a desire on behalf of the K-Pop idol to do well considering the rarity of their live stages.

Even considering the COVID-19 situation, we only come once every few years. And I feel sorry to perform in front of BLINKs when I’m in a bad condition.

Jisoo affirmed that her goal is to be a source of happiness for her fans. She is making a conscious effort to take care of herself so that she can be on top of her game when she hits the stage for their sakes.
