BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Fangirls Over Taylor Swift Dancing To One Of Her Songs
BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo recently released her first solo album, ME, and as part of promotions for the album, she sat down with Teen Vogue for a special interview! During the interview, the star talked about her noteworthy first times throughout her career and life.
After introducing herself, Jisoo talked about several of her career firsts, including what it was like the first time she meet BLINKs IRL…
…and how she felt attending her first concert — Christina Aguilera.
Jisoo was then asked about her experience attending her first overseas/American award show, which was BLACKPINK’s appearance at the 2022 Video Music Awards. The group won the “Best Meta Verse Performance” award as a group, and Lisa won “Best K-Pop” for her solo “LALISA,” in addition to being nominated for “Best Group.”
While these were huge milestones for their career, JIsoo couldn’t help but fangirl a bit over Taylor Swift. During BLACKPINK’s performance at the VMAs, the American musician was spotted dancing and singing to “Pink Venom,” proving she had the song in rotation in her playlists.

The singer even showed support for the group before the show, using the song in her pre-show TikTok.

Jisoo says that because she listened to Taylor Swift growing up a lot, seeing her dance to their music was an unbelievable moment.
She finishes by saying it was an inspiring and great experience for the group!
