BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Reveals That Her Relatives Treated Her Like An Outcast, Called Her “Ugly”
BLACKPINK‘s documentary, BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky, was recently released. The documentary went in-depth about the group’s journey from their trainee days to the present.
In the documentary, there was a heartbreaking moment where Jisoo spoke about how she once got treated like an outcast by her relatives due to her being “ugly”.
The relatives even called Jisoo a “monkey” due to her appearance.
BLACKPINK’s makeup artist then gave Jisoo some encouraging words, telling her, “It’s okay. You’re the prettiest one now“.
After Jisoo shared this story, many BLINKs (BLACKPINK’s fandom) showered her with love.
From her relatives treating her as outcast calling her ugly or monkey, from thinking of pursuing other careers—writing, painting to trying out in YG, not knowing much. She have gone through so much.
