BLACKPINK’s Jisoo Reveals What Makes All Their Sacrifices Worth It (Hint: It’s Not Fame Or Fortune)
Being a K-Pop idol isn’t easy, as idols have to make a lot of sacrifices to have a chance at a successful career. BLACKPINK recently sat down for an interview with Entertainment Weekly, and they spoke briefly about this.
In the interview, the BLACKPINK members were asked various questions, with some of them relating to their newly released documentary, BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky, which shows the group’s journey from their trainee days to the present. One question they were asked was, “Throughout the film, you all talk about the pain of leaving home and being on your own during your trainee days. What parts of this career make those moments of pain worth the sacrifice?”
Jisoo spoke on how the members have been trainees since they were young and that they ran into a lot of hardships throughout their lives.
However, the love and support that the members receive from BLINKs (BLACKPINK’s fandom) help them push through any hardships they are dealing with.
