Where Is LØREN, The Hot Male Lead From BLACKPINK’s “Lovesick Girls,” Now?
Two years ago, BLACKPINK came back into our area with the music video for “Lovesick Girls,” an angsty love song with a bad boy male lead.
In the music video, LØREN shared romantic moments with Lisa and Rosé who, in the end, decided to ditch this handsome heartbreaker.
At the time, fans were eager to learn more about LØREN, a solo singer, DJ, and producer under YG Entertainment‘s sub-label, THE BLACK LABEL. He is credited as a lyricist of BLACKPINK songs (“Lovesick Girls, “Pretty Savage,” “You Never Know”), but also a composer and arranger for BIGBANG G-Dragon‘s 2017 song, “개소리 (BULLSHIT).”
LØREN made his solo debut on November 13, 2020 (a month after the “Lovesick Girls” release) with his first rock single, “Empty Trash.”
So, what is this rising rockstar doing now? In 2021, LØREN released two singles with music videos, “Need (ooo-eee)” and “All My Friends Are Turning Blue.”
In early 2022, LØREN and Rosé had a reunion of sorts for Dazed Korea‘s 2022 March issue. They appeared separately on special covers, both dressed in luxurious Yves Saint Laurent clothing. LØREN later modeled for the brand’s 2022 Eyewear Campaign.
Since then, LØREN has continued his modeling career…
…and is living his best rockstar life. In one of his most recent Instagram posts, LØREN wrote, “cant wait for whats to come this year. my best wishes to all of you and see yall soon ♠️” Could new music be in the works?
Until then, why not listen to LØREN’s latest single?
