Being a K-Pop trainee isn’t easy, and BLACKPINK‘s Rosé recently spoke about her tough trainee days.
Rosé recently guested in an episode of My Little Old Boy, and during the episode, she was asked when she struggled the most during her trainee days. Rosé let out a sigh when thinking back on her trainee days.
After thinking for a bit, Rosé said that she struggled since she was “greedy.” When Rosé was a trainee, she was determined to become a great artist, so she worked constantly to better herself.
Rosé believes that the internal conflict she had was what she struggled with the most during her trainee days.
It was also mentioned that Rosé practiced around 14 hours a day when she was a trainee!
Rosé’s trainee days were no joke, and she even said that if she had to repeat her trainee days now, she wouldn’t be able to.
Rosé believes that she was able to endure her trainee days since she was so young and didn’t know much.
Rosé then repeated a few times that she would not be able to repeat her trainee days.
When Rosé was a trainee, if she wasn’t eating, then she would be doing things like watching videos in the practice room or playing instruments. Rosé also shared that she would get mental breakdowns when things weren’t working out when she was a trainee.
