A BLACKPINK Fan Painted Jisoo With A Lightstick, And It Will Blow Your Mind
Back in August, Cody of the channel Cody & Wyatt uploaded a video showing the process of painting Jisoo…but with a twist.
In a YouTube video entitled “I Painted BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo With Nothing But A Lightstick”, he proved that a K-Pop lightstick has more uses than one!
Instead of using a regular ‘ol paintbrush, he blew viewers’ minds by painting with a lightstick.
Yes, the same lightstick that K-Pop fans collect as merch and proudly wave at a concert.
Cody’s painting was based on Jisoo’s beautiful teaser image for “How You Like That” where she stares alluringly at the camera, pieces of hair framing her face.
Prior to the video, he drew a rough sketch of Jisoo.
The video began with him mixing paint together using—you guessed it—a BLACKPINK lightstick!
He proceeded to paint the background with the heart hammer lightstick.
He then showed himself detaching its strap and intelligently using it to paint thinner strokes.
By utilizing a tasteful combination of shades, he added dimension to Jisoo’s face and body.
Little by little, the painting became unbelievably realistic!
One of the most mind-blowing parts of the video was when he worked on Jisoo’s eyes and lips.
Finally, he added the finishing touches…
…And voilà! You have here Cody’s jaw-dropping masterpiece of BLACKPINK’s loveable Jisoo.
