BTS’s Choreographer On Working With BTS And Their True Personalities
When it comes to the members of BTS, there is no denying why ARMYs worldwide love them so much. Not only are they extremely talented, charismatic, and handsome, but those around them have always praised their personalities.
In particular, one person who has shared her thoughts and experiences working with the group is choreographer Sienna Lalau, part of the Los Angeles-based dance group The Lab.
Despite her young age, Sienna has choreographed for some of the biggest artists in the world, including BTS, BLACKPINK, Justin Beiber, and J. Lo. The now 23-year-old choreographer has gained attention as a dancer and choreographer for many years. She is also known to have choreographed BTS’s “Dionysus” as a teenager. She even appeared in the group’s music video for “ON,” which she choreographed!
She also helped to choreograph the iconic performance of “Butter” at the 2022 GRAMMYs.
Sienna sat down in an interview with Honolulu Magazine, where she spoke about how she got into the world of dance and her experiences working with BTS. In the interview, Sienna revealed that, despite competing and performing in front of crowds for most of her life, the first time she was nervous was when she performed with BTS during the Rose Bowl concert in 2019.
The lights went on, the music started and their fans went crazy. You don’t realize the power of their ARMY until you’re on stage and feel their energy. It’s insane. I’ll never forget that moment.

Aside from that event, Sienna has also performed several times with the group, including at their PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE shows in LA at the SoFi stadium. When asked about what it was like performing with them, Sienna explained that the group had this special presence about them, adding, “When they walk in a room, you feel their amazing aura; it’s powerful.”
Although the group debuted in 2013 and has been training for much longer, it seems as if they still have rookie mentalities.
BTS might be one of the biggest artists globally, but Sienna explained that they always put their full effort into everything they do and enjoy themselves at the same time.
Not lying, they put everything of themselves in their performances and if it’s not perfect, they will practice until it is. But, they have fun too.

Yet, it isn’t the first time that BTS has been praised for their work ethic by those around them. TXT‘s Yeonjun shared his admiration for member Suga’s ability to create music even with schedules. BTS might be one of the most famous acts, but they continue to showcase their true personalities through their hard work and determination. It feels like everyone who ever meets them never has anything but kind words about the members.
