Middle-Aged Professors Welcome New Students with a Cover of BTS’s “IDOL”
On February 21, a Twitter account named ‘FABULOUS’ shared a footage of middle-aged professors singing and dancing to BTS‘s “IDOL”, which received overwhelming attention.
The footage shows a group of male middle-aged professors of Ewha Womans University putting on a performance for the new students attending the entrance ceremony.
They started their performance by putting on the music for BTS’s “IDOL” and doing wave-like dance moves, which was followed by all of them singing the lyrics together in very loud voices.
There were parts that were a little rough around the edges, but the students cheered them on with laughter and applause as a thank you for their welcoming efforts.
Not only did the professors’ sincere welcoming efforts touch the new students, but the footage of it racked up nearly 300,000 views in just 5 days.
