BTS’s Jimin Would Only Sleep For 2 Hours Every Night As A Trainee
BTS made a guest appearance on tvN’s You Quiz On The Block for their 99th episode. For this BTS special, the members had a fun time playing various games as well as talking about their thoughts on music, life, worries, and the future.
During the interview with J-Hope, Jimin, and Jungkook, Jimin revealed the hardships he faced as a trainee.
At that time, I didn’t live in the dorms as a BTS member. I had come up from Busan and I didn’t have a place to stay so I came to live in the dorms.

Knowing that he could be kicked out at any time made it really uncomfortable and hard for him during his trainee days.
Back then, being called up from the agency meant bad news for the trainees and Jimin was told that it was a close call for him every month.
Not knowing what I should do was the hardest thing for me. Whenever V or Jungkook had vocal lessons, I asked if I could watch. I would tune in to the lesson and later practice what I learned late at night.
—Jimin
Jungkook added, “According to my standards, Jimin hyung is the most strict and hard-working on himself.” They revealed that Jimin would almost never sleep, always waking up the earliest and going to bed the latest.
I would practice until about 4 AM and wake up around 6:30 to go to school. It wasn’t hard for me back then.
—Jimin
He had the mindset that he would succeed no matter what!
I would call my father once every month and I would always tell him that I might not make it so just don’t be disappointed in me. Even if I fail here I will make it somehow.
—Jimin
I endured all these hardships and continued to practice hard in order to be a part of the team all because of the members. We are all equally lacking and we are all the same people, but we can do it if we are together.
—Jimin
