BTS’s Jin Calls Lee Young Ji’s Show The “BTS Of YouTube”
BTS‘s Jin was the final guest on the latest season of Lee Young Ji’s My Alcohol Diary (also known as No Prepare.) ARMYs, BTS’s official fandom, were excited about the collaboration since Lee Young Ji is known for being a great host who can bring out the best in her guests. The two hit it off right away, bowing to each other repeatedly.
Jin revealed early in the show that there was a 99% chance that their collaboration wouldn’t happen since his company usually only allows their artists to be in in-house filmings.
Later, Young Ji mentioned that she heard Jin loved watching their show, which is why he decided to be a guest. Jin honestly clarified that he was not an avid fan, for which he apologized.
He further explained that he couldn’t avoid seeing My Alcohol Diary because it was consistently ranked number 1! He went so far as to say Lee Young Ji and her team were the “BTS of YouTube.”
Young Ji was stunned and said that meant that the entire group officially verified their show as the “BTS of YouTube,” but Jin quickly corrected her, saying, “I need to discuss about it with other members,” making Young Ji and all the staff laugh out loud.
At least, that meant that Jin acknowledged My Alcohol Diary as the number one show on YouTube. He proved he was a true fan by saying he knew the bathroom in her apartment was broken!
Then Jin said that paying ₩1.00 million KRW (about $697 USD) for using the toilet wasn’t that bad, flexing his wealth.
