Singer Lee Hyun has a heartwarming relationship with his Big Hit Music junior labelmates, BTS, and there was a time when he defended them.
When Lee Hyun was in the military, BTS were making their first comeback.
Lee Hyun was waiting to watch BTS on TV, and Lee Hyun’s military juniors said, “What kind of name is Bangtan Sonyeondan (meaning Bulletproof Boyscouts)?”
These people didn’t know that BTS was Lee Hyun’s junior labelmates. Lee Hyun then said to his military juniors, “Do you not like the name? They’re from my label.” After Lee Hyun said this, his military juniors said, “Now that I think about it, I think the name is quite memorable.”
Back then, Lee Hyun felt sorry since he wasn’t around for BTS as their senior.
