The BTS Member Bang Si Hyuk Didn’t Recognize In Public
BTS is one of the most well-recognized musical groups in the world and has remained a constant presence in headlines and media since the members all began their mandatory military enlistment.
Before they were some of the biggest names in the world, they were seven talented trainees working toward their dream at Big Hit Entertainment, now BIGHIT MUSIC.
As one of BIGHIT MUSIC’s first groups, BTS worked closely with founder and producer Bang Si Hyuk, also known as Hitman Bang.
Through the years, BTS has shown off their close relationship with Bang Si Hyuk, who is not immune to the group’s hilarious teasing and impersonations.
During the group’s early days, they were given a rare opportunity to air their grievances to Bang Si Hyuk through a variety program.
BTS’s V had a particular instance he wanted to confront their boss about and hilariously didn’t hold back when he recalled an interaction he had with Bang Si Hyuk as a trainee.
V explained that he had been visiting a convenience store with leader RM after one of their monthly evaluations and ran into Bang Si Hyuk on the way there.
As they both greeted him, they were surprised when Bang Si Hyuk asked, “Who is that next to RM?” in reference to V.
V explained that it went on for a year, and when he jokingly confronted Bang Si Hyuk during the variety show, he was able to iconically tell him to remember his name, one letter, V.
The BTS members continue to have a close connection with Bang Si Hyuk, and the HYBE founder recently earned praise for respecting BTS’s mental health in a clip from their new documentary.
