A BTS Fan Accidentally Asked V And J-Hope A NSFW Question
Over the past decade, BTS and ARMY have shared many moments that fans can look back on fondly.
Some of these moments are heartwarming, others are hilarious…
…and a few, well, let’s just classify them as “questionable!”
This is, in part, thanks to translation apps that cause chaos for everybody involved. For example, whatever Jin was trying to say on Weverse, it wasn’t this:
One of the most iconic translation mix-ups happened when V and J-Hope hosted a live broadcast with ARMY. As always, they answered fans’ questions, but one took them by surprise: “Are you excited to go back to Korea?”
J-Hope laughed as he read it aloud, and V couldn’t keep a straight face either once the meaning sank in. What was so funny?
It turns out that the fan used the word heung-bun (흥분) instead of shin-na (신나). Both words mean “excited,” but heung-bun (흥분) can also imply…sexual excitement.
So no, V and J-Hope, were not “excited” to return to their home country. At least, not in that way!
Look at Tae’s face when Hobi asks him if he’s “horny to go back to korea” eye-….even when he’s clowning he’s so cute :( pic.twitter.com/8cdZRRPh66
