Famous Korean TV Producer Praises BTS’s V For Showcasing These Two Traits On Set
Na Young Seok (also known as Na PD or PD Na) is one of the most famous variety show producers in South Korea. He’s the brain behind 2 Days & 1 Night, Three Meals a Day, Journey to the West, and more.
In an interview with Weverse Magazine, he talked about his experience working with BTS‘s V on the show Jinny’s Kitchen. Set in a small town in Mexico, it showcased a cast of celebrities introducing Korean street food to their customers.
He had several words of praise directed towards the singer. Check them out below!
1. Intelligence
First of all, Na PD noticed that V did not have experience being a fixed cast member of any show outside of his group activities. Despite this, he was able to adapt to the flow of the restaurant program in just a short period of time.
I thought that was really interesting. [V] was never a permanent member of a show other than HYBE’s proprietary content. But he’s very intelligent. Just after about two or three days in, he got a hang of the flow.

He would, for instance, immediately try to blend in with the locals by speaking Spanish to them.
In extension, V knew what to do and say at the right moments in order to lighten up the atmosphere.
He knew what he had to do to make the show fun.

2. Hard Work
The famous producer also loved the singer’s persevering attitude on set. He was described as being “hard working” and this showed in each scene he was in. He cooked food, interacted with the customers, and more all as the resident intern of the cast.
He worked really hard, too.
