BTS’s V Went Viral On The Internet For Hilariously Looking Like A SpongeBob Character
Millennials and Generation Z are lucky to have experienced some spectacular moments in entertainment over their lifetime.
As children, the endearingly funny television series SpongeBob SquarePants first premiered, whose timeless humour still persists in adulthood.
And many adults and teenagers have been inspired and captivated by the talent, charisma and discography of BTS.
It is always of course, a welcomed surprise when these two world intersect.
During BTS’s break last year, V took some time to show support for his friend and former Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth cast member Park Seo Joon.
V appeared at a screening for The Divine Fury which stars Park Seo Joon.
But he took the national media by storm with his natural and casual look. Sporting his natural hair colour, V looked classy and comfortable in a green shirt and brown trousers.
When he appeared on stage, the photographers couldn’t stop cheering!

Internationally, many could not help but compare V’s screening outfit with that of Fred, a background character in SpongeBob SquarePants, most famous for constantly screaming “My Leg” when he is injured.
V’s brown trousers and facial expression perfectly matches Fred in this hilarious comparison.
The resemblance is uncanny, especially with a photoshopped belt!
The comparison has gone viral on the Bikini Bottom Twitter subreddit, which has 2 million subscribers.
With almost 25 thousand upvotes, much of the reception has been praiseworthy of V’s visuals.
Dude honestly, he’s pulling it off
Man could wear a trash bag and he’[d] look better than me attempting to dress up
An ARMY even sent V the comparison of him with the SpongeBob character on Weverse, to which he reacted with “Wow”.
Whether it’s the Korean or international community, what everyone can agree on is that V’s visuals are absolutely breathtaking.
