BTS’s Reaction To Winning Artist Of The Year At The “2021 AMAs” Is Exactly Like Their Reaction To Winning Best New Artist At The “2013 MMAs”
The BTS members have grown up so much since they debuted in 2013, but some things never change!
In 2013, BTS won the Best New Artist award at the Melon Music Awards. Needless to say, they were thrilled to be recognized for all their hard work during their debut era!
Although they stayed professional on stage, it was very clear that they were happy to receive the award.
Once they went backstage to prepare for their performance after receiving the award, however, they were able to fully express their excitement. They ran through the halls screaming and jumping up and down out of sheer joy.
Since winning Best New Artist in 2013, BTS has gone on to win countless awards year after year.
Considering BTS has won awards at nearly every award show they’ve attended, it would make sense if the thrill of winning awards has worn off for them. However, in their behind-the-scenes episode from the 2021 American Music Awards, BTS proved they’re still just as excited and humble as they were in 2013!
BTS took home all three awards they were nominated for at the 2021 American Music Awards. They won the Favorite Pop Duo or Group, Favorite Pop Song, and Artist of the Year awards.
BTS made history as the first Asian act to win the Artist of the Year awards, and ARMY couldn’t have been more proud of them.
The members were also excited to make history with their big win at the 2021 American Music Awards. When they went backstage to prepare for their “Butter” performance, they fully let out their excitement, and they acted just like they did backstage at the 2013 Melon Music Awards.
Looks like the members are still kids at heart, and they’re still as humble as ever!
