Venerable Beomjeong, also known as Flower Monk, is a social media sensation! With his delicate facial features, he’s bringing light to Buddhism with help from his good looks.
He quickly sold out out tickets to a temple tour program which includes a tea time session with him at the temple located Jirisan Mountain in South Jeolla Province.
With his growing popularity on social media, he shows his daily life and is able to connect with the youth and educate them on his religion.
There are also other ways the temple engages the youth with Buddhism including a flower photo contest, yoga competitions and a film music festival.
It’s clear to see why he’s such a star!
