CL Reveals The Main Difference Between Being A Soloist And Being Part Of A Group
CL is continuing to make a name for herself as a soloist. She recently revealed how different it is being a solo artist than it is being part of a group.
CL’s first full-length solo album, ALPHA, was released on October 20, 2021.
Her career started long before ALPHA‘s release though. You might know her from the since disbanded group 2NE1. Though she has had solo releases in the past, releasing an entire full-length album was a new achievement for the artist.
CL revealed that the main difference between performing as a soloist and as part of a group has to do with the energy.
Before you get on stage and when you’re on stage it’s much more energy with the girls. So, I miss that, but I have my fans and I enjoy what I do. I love what I do.

When asked about what lessons she learned early on in her career that still hold true to this day, she says, “To keep going and to really just believe in what yourself and […] what your gut is telling you and to make sure you take time for yourself…”
We can’t wait to see what she does next!
