For years, many ARMYs have recalled the story of BTS’s Jungkook being followed by Dispatch in an attempt to catch him dating. The original story recalls that Jungkook was seen instead riding on a scooter to buy Banana milk, with accompanying photos to go along with it.

The photos do strongly resemble shots taken by Dispatch of other idols they have tailed, usually from far away and of lower quality.

However, were the photos taken by Dispatch to catch Jungkook?

When looking at the full photos, you can see a name, Park_Chim95Z, in the image. These are usually placed as watermarks to credit the person who originally took the pictures.

Because of this, it is clear that these photos were originally taken by, Park_Chim95Z, a fan who happened to see Jungkook out and about on that day. Fan reposts from around the time the photos were taken support this.

This means Dispatch did not follow Jungkook then, and the only published photos of Jungkook are from collaborations with the news agency.
