Some idols will only debut once during a single generation, while others have debuted multiple times in different generations. A new girl group member just joined the ranks of idols who have debuted in three different generations!
Yeeun made her first debut as a member of CLC in May 2015. CLC saw ups and downs throughout their career, culminating in Yeeun choosing not to renew her contract at Cube Entertainment and the group’s disbandment.
The star would then sign with a new agency in 2022, where she would first appear as a featured artist on former groupmate Sorn‘s track, “Nirvana Girl,” as well as oceansfromtheblue‘s “Come Back Home.”
Yeeun then made her solo debut with the digital single “Strange Way To Love.” Following the digital single, Yeeun released her first single album, The Beginning, marking her re-debut as a fourth generation soloist.
Fans were thrilled when it was announced that Yeeun would particiapte in the newest imagining of Queendom, titled Queendom Puzzle. She competed along a number of other previously debuted idols like former AOA‘s Chanmi (now known as Doha) and WJSN‘s Yeoreum.
Luckily, Yeeun would survive the competition, making it to the final episode where she placed seventh, ensuring her debut as a member of EL7Z UP.
EL7Z UP made their debut on September 30, making them a fifth generation group.
It’s great to see that Yeeun has continued to follow her dreams!
