English Singer Anne-Marie Was Jealous Of TWICE’s “Scientist” Music Video
Anne-Marie is a famous English pop singer who rose to fame after being featured as the main vocalist on Clean Bandit‘s single “Rockabye” in 2016. The music video has since gained over 2,734,000,000 views on YouTube.
Since then, she’s had a successful solo career. Her song “2002” was number one in South Korea in 2019 and has sold millions of records worldwide.
Recently, Anne-Marie appeared in the latest season of MMTG hosted by Jaejae. They talked about Anne-Marie’s fame in South Korea and her connections to K-Pop, including Suzy‘s cover of “2002” and how she would love to collaborate with Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon one day.
Anne-Marie also contributed directly to the music of the famous idol girl group TWICE since she helped compose their hit single, “Scientist!”
She explained that she wrote the song during the pandemic from the comfort of her own home, but when TWICE said they were interested in performing the single, she didn’t hesitate to send it to them.
When asked what she thought of the music video, Anne-Marie didn’t hesitate to admit that she was jealous because their production value was “Way more than my videos!”
Jaejae couldn’t contain her laughter.
The English superstar ended by jokingly asking JYP Entertainment to give her some videos.
