ENHYPEN’s Heeseung Reveals His Thoughts About His “2021 MAMA” Performance
ENHYPEN recently released the behind-the-scenes video of the group attending the 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards (commonly referred to as MAMA).
Fans of the 4th generation of K-Pop were especially excited for one particular performance at the 2021 MAMAs: a collaboration between Stray Kids‘ Hyunjin, TXT‘s Yeonjun, ITZY‘s Yeji, ENHYPEN‘s Heeseung, ATEEZ‘s Wooyoung, and aespa‘s Karina.
All six idols took the stage in short solo dance performances, dressed in all white, as they all showcased their incredible musicality, power, and stage presence.
And in ENHYPEN’s recent video, fans can see Heeseung’s thoughts about his part of the collaboration stage.
Heeseung tells the camera that he’s done a lot of rehearsal for the awards show performances.
And although he did not have a lot of time to practice his solo stage specifically, he made sure to practice it early in the morning.
And because of his hard work, Heeseung feels like he will do well.
But when it is almost time for his performance, Heeseung admits that he feels “shaky right now.”
Practicing his dance right until it’s time for him to go to the stage.
And while his members show their excitement for Heeseung’s performance, gathering around the TV to try and watch, they, unfortunately, get called to be on standby for receiving an award and cannot see his stage.
After his performance, Heeseung admits that he was incredibly nervous when it started.
And that he “felt like jelly the whole time.”
But that, ultimately, “the performance turned out better than what [he] expected.”
And that it meant a lot that he was able to do a solo performance at MAMAs.
He was able to gain inspiration from the other idols he shared the opening performance with.
And thinks that it “will last as a good memory.”
And Heeseung concludes talking to the camera by saying that he’s sure his fans will “be thrilled.”
Which, with his jaw-dropping performance, was a given.
