ENHYPEN Shares Their Experiences Of Participating On Mnet’s “I-LAND”
ENHYPEN‘s Jake, Sunghoon, and Jungwon were the latest guests on DIVE Studios‘ K-Pop Daebak with Eric Nam.
During the episode, the members recalled some of their trainee days and what it was like taking part in Mnet‘s reality show I-LAND.
Sunghoon explained that, despite the show’s difficulties, it left a long-lasting impression on him as a person and an artist.
We all grew a lot from that show, and I think it was a good experience for our debut. We’re still receiving lots of love and support from our fans, even after our debut.
— Sunghoon
It seemed as if he was not the only member who thought this. Jungwon also said that one of the most memorable moments in his career was during I-LAND.
My most memorable experience is when we won I-LAND. I don’t think I’ve ever been so nervous before that moment.
— Jungwon
As host Eric Nam has always been a soloist, he asked the members how it felt when they realized they were the final group.
Jake explained that on the show, the members never really did anything alone. He also added how vital I-LAND was for helping them gel as a group.
The show really made us feel the importance of what it meant to be in a team. I couldn’t believe the fact that I was going to be one of the final seven members. It felt surreal that I was going to be part of ENHYPEN.
— Jake
Despite the difficulties, it seemed like the show made the group even stronger. You can watch the whole episode below.
