EXO‘s Chanyeol is a true social butterfly who loves to make friends everywhere he goes.

And between all the trips to Japan that Chanyeol has taken over the years, he’s become close to many Japanese musicians and celebrities. When Chanyeol headed back to Japan to snowboard the slopes on his January 2019 vacation, some fans were sure he’d kick back with a few friends there as well.

EXO-Ls have been waiting for some kind of interaction between the two for a while now. Way back in September 2018, Mackenyu and Chanyeol started following each other on Instagram and the two have been liking each other’s posts.
