With the release of his newest Chinese single “Falling Down”, SEVENTEEN‘s The8 has made waves with his beautifully emotional lyrics that took it right to the top of the chart within hours.

While the song was stunning all on its own, the epic choreography made it that much more impactful. To fans amazement, The8 gracefully showed the emotions behind it with his dancing.

They weren’t the only ones impressed. When one of EXO‘s best dancers, Lay, saw the video for himself, he was just as blown away.

Through his Weibo, Lay commented on the post where The8 had shared the “Falling Down” video. He didn’t merely praise how well the choreography complemented the song; he noted how well The8 had danced, “You danced so well.” It didn’t go unnoticed.

The8 saw the compliment and was quick to reply. He gained encouragement through it, “Thank you. I will continue to work harder.”

If such a talented and senior artist as Lay is amazed by how well The8 dances, that’s one of the highest praises there is.
