“F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers” Actress Tu Tontawan Tantivejakul Proves She’s A True NCTzen
F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers, the Thai drama version of Yoko Kamio‘s hit manga Boys Over Flowers, is well underway. Currently, you can watch the first few episodes on GMMTV‘s YouTube channel for free with English subtitles.
Recently, the cast “Tu” Tontawan Tantivejakul, “Bright” Vachirawit Chivaaree, “Dew” Jirawat Sutivanichsak, “Win‘ Metawin Opas-iamkajorn, and “Nani” Hirunkit Changkham were featured in Mint Magazine Thailand‘s first-anniversary issue.
For Mint Magazine Thailand‘s YouTube channel, the cast also did an interview but with a twist. The cast played a game of Would I Lie To You? in which the cast answered questions and were “proved” to be lying or telling the truth through a shocking lie-detecting machine.
The first to be interrogated was lead actress Tu. Bright asked her who she would prefer to have as a brother of the four guys. She selected Win, and she was proved to be telling the truth.
The following question was from Win, asking, “Are you happy to work with the four of us?” She replied, “Yes!” And, again, she was proved to be telling the truth.
Nani teased Tu as she had not been accused of lying once. He began to question the authenticity of the lie detector. So, when it was his turn to ask the questions, he asked a more controversial question: “NCT or F4?” Nani made Tu choose between her favorite K-Pop group and her co-stars!
My turn to ask you, if you have to choose between F4 and NCT, who would you choose? Let’s go!
— Nani
The joke’s on him! There’s no debate here; it’s obviously NCT.
Tu: I will choose NCT…
Bright: She doesn’t even wait for any of us to press the button, she must be confident in her answer.
She teased her co-stars, saying, “I could lie, you know, to make it funny.” Still, she chose the truth, and as they say, “the truth will set you free.” In this case, that means the F4 actors are free to go because the lie detector proved that Tu truly meant it when she chose NCT over them.
Don’t worry, guys! We still love you too.
We have to say we’re not surprised by Tu’s response, though. She has time and time again proved to be a true NCTzen.
The model-turned-actress even has a fan account (@tontawan_t on Twitter). She is a big K-Pop fan, including not only NCT but other groups such as EXO, BLACKPINK, TWICE, and Red Velvet.
While she keeps her Instagram relatively professional, you can still see subtle references to her fandoms.
Last year, she even shared some videos from her online fansigns in which she spoke with NCT’s Jisung. He’s her bias!
