Fan Asks Whether It’s OK That They Think BTS Could Do Better Than Their Parents, Fellow ARMYs Respond
An ARMY posted the question to community board Quora asking, “Is it okay that I find that BTS could raise me better than my own parents?”
While the ARMYs question may seem like it came out of left-field, it’s actually quite reasonable. At some point in our lives, no matter how good our relationships might be with our parents, many of us have had a moment (no matter how brief), where we were unhappy with the way our parents treated us.
The poster’s fellow ARMYs came through with thoughtful replies that really showcase how highly fans think of BTS.
Actually, your question isn’t as strange as it may sound.
BTS is composed of 7 extremely passionate and loving members. They’re all unique in personality and have their own ways of interacting with others including children.
Most members are known for being extremely caring and attentive (Jimin, Jin, Jhope for example).
Others are super playful and open-minded (Taehyung, Jungkook, etc.)
And of course, you can’t forget the wise members who would be there to advise you and guide you through different situations (Namjoon, Yoongi, etc.)
although they’re way to busy to be parents right now; hypothetically, they would be the perfect role models and family to any child.

While fellow fans were able to relate to what the original poster was saying, they also wanted to make sure that OP was also keeping herself firmly grounded in reality.
I can understand where you’re coming from, and yeah, it’s okay, but I do want to stress this:
The members of BTS are nowhere near ready to be parents right now. So, all of the things that you see, while admirable and wonderful, are good traits that would make better parenting much more likely. This does not mean they would be better parents inherently.
That’s okay, though. Just make sure you’re not viewing them as Actual parents, as that may let you down if they do something that doesn’t fit that image.
They haven’t reached that step or milestone yet, but it’s okay to look up to them and recognize their better qualities.

BTS certainly has admirable traits that any person, let alone parents, would be blessed to have.
Can you relate to the OP’s question? Have you ever wished you had someone like BTS in your life to guide you?
