That means MOMOLAND, which even gained popularity overseas with their song, “BBoom BBoom”, was yet to get paid by their agency even after 3 yeras. MOMOLAND debuted back in 2016 with their debut album, “Welcome to MOMOLAND”, and started to gain popularity with their 2018 album, “GREAT!” The title song, “BBoom BBoom” took off and became the driving force of their Japanese activities.
With how much they’ve succeeded so far, it’s shocking that they have yet to receive a cent to put in their own pocket.
But it’s also been revealed in the past that a substantial amount of money is put into making an idol group. As a result, it takes a great deal of time and success to pay off their debts and start making some real cash.
It took a long time for the members to get paid, with JooE revealing in December 2019 that she was able to buy her parents a house and a car.
