(G)I-DLE’s Miyeon Revealed How The Members Close Bond Helps Them Make Great Music
In an interview with W Korea, (G)I-DLE‘s Main vocal Miyeon discussed the group’s chemistry.
Miyeon started off by sharing how she was before she was accepted into the company and met her members
If I were to look back to the times where being a singer was still a nothing but a dream, I was a really shy person. I would secretly record songs at home as I dreamed of becoming a singer, and one day, I thought ‘it’s time to show this.’ All of a sudden I went for an audition recklessly. On that day, I passed the audition, I only recall it as the day where something ‘exploded.’

I felt the pressure of having to prove myself when I started at the company, and that’s when I met the members. We got close really fast, and I thought I would never make friends like this ever again.
— Miyeon
She gave details on how the girls are close and trust one another despite everyone having different personalities.
We reveal everything to one another. Also, music-wise, we acknowledge and trust each other. While the six of us are stubborn and have our own likes and dislikes, but we oddly get along well.

Miyeon shared that their bond and trust helped them create their new album for their fans.
We trust each other’s decisions, and I think we can turn even bolder than we are now. When we were about to wrap up our new album, someone said ‘isn’t it a little weak?’ But, we are very confident. It’s a song we prepared because we like it, and we can do well if we like it.
