(G)I-DLE’s Yuqi Predicts The Future Of Lovelyz’s Mijoo’s Love Life
In a recent episode of “LEARN WAY 2,” in which Lovelyz‘s Mijoo takes on a variety of different challenges, learning different skills from other talented celebrities, (G)I-DLE‘s Yuqi tried to teach her Chinese.
But since Yuqi was the mc of the first season of “LEARN WAY,” she was extra comfortable with the producers and staff, and for a bonus segment of the show, she decided to practice a skill “LEARN WAY 1” had taught her, tarot card reading.
Unsurprisingly, Mijoo asked Yuqi to predict her love life.
After mumbling an incoherent, definitely “legitimate” spell, Yuqi drew asked Mijoo to “imagine the relationship [she] wants and pick three cards.”
The first card, which Yuqi titled “Chance,” supposedly described Mijoo’s past relationship.
Yuqi positively interpreted this card as saying, “there are a lot of guys who like you.”
But Mijoo shattered her own excitement by reminding them both that this was meant to explain her past experiences.
When she drew the card for Mijoo’s present, Yuqi got extremely excited, saying that the new card also meant “chance.”
The distinguishing feature from the last card, according to Yuqi, was that someone hadn’t confessed their feelings.
To which, Mijoo could only send a video message to her supposed secret admirer, encouraging them to confess to her.
With a dramatic scream of surprise, Yuqi finally picked up the card depicting Mijoo’s future love life, only to show an image of someone standing alone.
“She doesn’t have a chance at all.”
Yuqi goes on to connect the present and future card, suggesting that because Mijoo’s secret admirer wasn’t confessing, they would never end up together, even though the future card shows that Mijoo wants to date them.
Once more, Mijoo turns to the camera and implores her admirer to call her, hoping to save herself from this predicted fate.
For Mijoo’s sake, viewers can certainly hope that Yuqi’s reading is far from accurate.
