(G)I-DLE’s Miyeon And Yuqi Spill On What Concept They Want To Try And Their Answers Couldn’t Be More Different
(G)I-DLE are currently on their first world tour, JUST ME ( )I-DLE.
In a behind-the-scenes video, the members are hard at work, rehearsing to give their fans the best performance they can.
The members revealed that they have rehearsed up to three times a day to perfect their stage performance. They practice their choreography, greeting fans based on the venue’s layout and what they’ll say during the show.
The long hours and hard work are all to be able to meet their fans. Minnie said that although they’re tired, it’s all worth it when they’re having a blast on stage.
While the video was filled with their hardworking moments, the group also knew when to have fun.
In the moments they weren’t rehearsing, they answered questions about their current tour. Member Yuqi shared she was excited to perform “LIAR” because of the rock style of the song. A live band accompanies (G)I-DLE on their tour, so Yuqi felt the song would really be brought to life with the live instruments.
Miyeon was most looking forward to performing “MOON” since it would be the first time they were able to perform it live for their fans.
As they were getting dressed for their performance, Miyeon and Yuqi were asked what concepts they wanted the group to try at their next concert, and they both had hilariously opposite answers.
Yuqi had a concept prepared for each member. With Miyeon, she wanted to do a dance performance; and with Shuhua, a rap collaboration.
For leader Soyeon, Yuqi wanted to switch it up and do a “cutie concept” performance with her and with Minnie, a martial arts performance.
When it came to a concept Miyeon wanted to try, she had one thing in mind, her “sexy charm.”
Miyeon jokingly declared that for the sake of her fellow members, she had “suppressed [her] sexy charm so much.”
She hilariously stated that it shouldn’t go to waste, so that’s why she wants to try a sexy concept soon. While their answers were wildly different, they could definitely pull off each concept with their talent.
