(G)I-DLE Yuqi’s Hot Pot Sauce Recommendation Looks Too Delicious Not To Try
Yuqi, Minnie, and Shuhua of (G)I-DLE were the focus of (G)I-DLE’s first I-LOG. With a trip to Germany for the “KPOP.FLEX” festival coming up, they recorded themselves going out to renew their visas and enjoying their free time by eating hot pot and shopping.
It took the girls four reservations and constant delays before they could finally eat hot pot, and Minnie was bouncing up and down in excitement after the long wait.
The sauce is one of the most crucial parts of enjoying hot pot. Yuqi showed viewers what sauce she usually makes, and there’s no doubt that her mixture is delicious and a must-try.
First, Yuqi started with majang sauce, a Chinese roasted sesame sauce that can contain peanuts or be made purely of sesame. According to Yuqi, not having majang sauce in a dip or as a dip just isn’t right.
This is a must, guys. If you don’t have it, you’re not enjoying hot pot properly.

Next, she added coriander and spring onions for a pop of fresh flavor and color.
Yuqi also poured in a ton of vinegar, which is another must include ingredient for Yuqi. The amount she put in might be a bit too much if you’re not a huge fan of acidic flavors, but the point is to create a perfect balance between the acidity and the aromatic herbs.
Finally, she topped off her sauce with finely chopped peanuts, elevating the nutty taste of the sauce and adding texture.
After a cute reaction to (G)I-DLE’s “Seniorita” playing on the restaurant’s speakers, the girls quickly dove into their hot pot feast.
Having finished six servings of meat, plenty of side dishes, and noodles, the girls almost ate themselves into a food coma (as one should at hot pot). With full bellies and happy moods, the three ended their dinner completely satisfied. If you want to watch the entire vlog of their day out, the video is linked below:
