(G)I-DLE's Yuqi Has The Most Relatable Shopping Habit—Here's How Far She'd Go For It

Like many people, (G)I-DLE‘s Yuqi can’t resist a good deal!

In the most recent episode of “LEARN WAY,” the fashion designer for King Of Mask Singer, Hwang Jae Keun, taught Yuqi the basics of designing clothes.

When they were getting to know each other at the beginning of the show, Hwang Jae Keun asked her to explain what kind of fashion makes her pause and take a second glance.

When you look at magazines or things on social media, which fashion style or icon makes you stop and look closer at it? That’s the source of your creation. Tell me briefly about those things.

Yuqi readily revealed her fashion philosophy, explaining how she enjoys wearing matching bright outfits.

My key points are that I like matching clothes. Same color. I like bright colors. For example, pink.

She then shared her extremely relatable shopping habit—going crazy over sales! She loves them so much, in fact, that she even jokingly said she’ll open a store and put all of her merchandise on sale.

Whenever I shop, I stop if there is a discount. If I open up a store, I’ll make everything go on sale.

Without missing a beat, Hwang Jae Keun joked that it won’t be long before she loses all of her money! “You’ll go bankrupt the next day, then.”

Other than discounts, Yuqi added that she thinks comfort is the most important aspect, which Hwang Jae Keun agreed with.

He shared that, because of the pandemic, people are preferring to hide themselves instead of showing off: “Due to COVID-19, instead of showing off, people want to hide in the shadows.”
