Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun Reveals How Acting Influenced Her Everyday Life
Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun reflected on her acting career in a recent interview and pictorial for Noblesse Men magazine! The pictorial’s concept was “confidence on the red carpet,” in which the idol-actress was dressed in elegant, glamorous looks.
During the interview, Seohyun was asked what kind of work she thought she could do the best at, since she has dipped into several hobbies and careers over time. She replied, “The work that I can do best is the work that makes me happy. For right now, that’s acting.”
Seohyun began her acting career mostly through small support or guest roles in Warm and Cozy, Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, and Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. However, she soon evolved into the main lead in several K-Dramas! They include shows like Time, Private Lives, and Hello Dracula. “I love acting so much,” she shared. “The more I act, the more I find it new and refreshing.”
Seohyun also described how acting influenced her everyday life and the way she looks at other people.
Through acting, you end up playing characters that you could never have imagined in your everyday life. By opening my mind and meeting a variety of characters, I’m able to look at humans without prejudice, and I’m able to understand people better. That’s the part about acting that I’m the most grateful for.
