Girls’ Generation Have The Funniest Response To Being Praised For Their Continued Contributions To K-Pop
Girls’ Generation are the newest guests on the Game Caterers’ entertaining YouTube series, and the episodes with the talented girl group are already full of funny moments.
One moment in particular that Girls’ Generation and the producers both found funny was when the producer complimented the members for their incredible success over the years.
The producer helps the members introduce their new album, FOREVER 1, by talking about how difficult it would have been to arrange all the members’ solo schedules so they could work on it.
Producer: It must’ve been very hard to work out the schedule.
Sunny: Don’t get me started.
Tiffany: That’s why it took five years.
Their comeback has been long-awaited by fans, and the members take understandable pride in being able to release more music as a group.
Producer: Being together for 15 years is…
Tiffany: We’re probably the first group to release the 7th album.
Producer: I believe you’re the first.
And when the producer takes it a step further, complimenting the members for being “living history…”
Producer: You’re living history.
The members can’t help but laugh at the idea.
And question his choice of words.
Taeyeon: Living history? Are we mummies?
Of course, the members took it in good fun, but it is true that Girls’ Generation helped establish and is continuing to establish many different precedents for newer K-Pop groups.
