Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany Shares Advice She Wishes She Had Known When She Was A Teenager
Girls’ Generation‘s Tiffany recently joined in on one of YouTube channel Pixid‘s video series where a group of people with something in common will sit together and text in a chatroom. Their goal is to identify which person does not fit the common theme.
Previously, SHINee‘s Key joined one of the videos where the commonality between the other people in the video was that they were his fans. So Key went undercover and tried to pretend like he was also a fan.
But Tiffany joined a video where the common characteristic between the participants was that they were all teenage girls.
As she participated in the video, trying to blend in with the other participants by referencing slang and discussing their hopes for the future… Tiffany admits that she “felt like [she] went back to [her] teens after a long time.”
When the girls in the chat supported each other as they shared their goals and dreams for the future, the dream Tiffany shared was something true to her heart.
I want to be an artist. I am comforted and energized by music and movies. I want to be an artist who delivers that.
– Tiffany
As the rest of the chat cheerfully encouraged her, Tiffany felt “very grateful.” And she admitted that she “was looking forward to a new era for the girls to create.”
Even though Tiffany has already achieved her dream of becoming an artist, she is dedicated to continually growing as an artist and being able to give comfort to her fans. So she felt “cheered on” as everyone supported her.
And once more, as the teenagers shared their messages of support for anyone trying to achieve a dream, Tiffany felt that they were both incredibly cool and deep for being so wise at such a young age.
But when it was her turn to share a message of support, Tiffany turned to something she wished she knew when she was a teenager struggling with her dream.
A dream you dream alone is only a dream. A dream you dream together is reality.
Tiffany’s message was about how if you share your dream with others, it can become a reality rather than simply a dream. This idea is especially important to her because of her own personal experiences while struggling to become an artist.
When I was a teenager, I blamed myself a lot because I thought I should do well alone. Actually, the community and support… With empowerment and uplifting community you can be healthy. You can achieve what you imagine. I want to express this story so I came here today.

Although Tiffany struggled with learning not to take on all her burdens by herself, hopefully, now that she’s sharing her wisdom, fans can take note and use it to improve their own lives.
