Girls’ Generation’s Yuri Said Lee Kwang Soo And Yoo Jae Suk Have No Strengths

They were weak, but she found them adorable.

Girls’ Generation‘s Yuri recently starred in her first ever web show, The Zone: Survival Mission, alongside Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Kwang Soo. The premise of the series was for the three celebrities to endure 8 different disaster simulations as representatives of humanity.

Naturally, the trio had to rely on each other to survive each simulation. In an interview with AsiaOne, all three cast members agreed that it was because they had each other that they didn’t give up on the missions.

Yuri also shared that while shooting the series, Yoo Jae Suk and Lee Kwang Soo were just their natural selves, which was both comforting and sad since it was almost as if they were weak in real life.

Despite being the youngest of the three, she felt sorry for them and had to constantly take care of the boys since their characters were designed that way.

When asked why she had previously described her castmates as fragile, Yuri said, “I don’t think they have a lot of strengths.” The whole cast couldn’t hold their reactions and burst into laughter.

Frustrated, Lee Kwang Soo answered, “You should try to make something up even if that’s the case! It’s not that we don’t have any.” while Yoo Jae Suk pointed out that since the show would air worldwide on Disney+, their weaknesses were being exposed on a global scale.

Yoo Jae Suk smoothly said audiences would have to wait and watch the show to find their natural strengths, but Yuri strongly denied it, saying, “I can’t seem to think of any.

Eventually, they had to admit that revealing how weak they are to Yuri and the entire world is one of the things that makes The Zone: Survival Mission so fascinating to watch!
