GOT7’s BamBam Explains Why He Admires LE SSERAFIM’s Sakura
GOT7‘s BamBam recently returned with his first album, Sour & Sweet. As part of his promotions, he appeared on the Daebak Show with Eric Nam where the pair chatted about the GOT7 member’s life and activities.
In the hour-long episode, Eric and BamBam hit on the idol’s future plans and talked about his current activities, including his drinking show Bam House.Β During each episode, BamBam and a special guest sit inside his home and chat. So far, BamBam’s guests have included TWICE‘s Jihyo, MONSTA X‘s I.M, and Choi Yena.

During the interview, Eric asks BamBam which guest has been the most memorable, and BamBam’s answer is LE SSERAFIM‘s Sakura!
According to BamBam, after his appearance on Sakura’s own YouTube program,Β Fearless Kura, she said she would come to his show. He reveals that her honesty the day they recorded Bam’s house impressed him and that she didn’t care about the awkwardness that can come when male and female idols interact.
She [was] being so honest that day, which you know β I’m an idol, she’s an idol. Boy and girl, [it’s] so senstive for idols and we were drinking. I just appreciate, you know, she says she don’t really care and she’s open.

He reiterates that she really “didn’t care” and was “open,” making the episode much more fun, in BamBam’s opinion.Β This was probably a relief to BamBam as he called it the most “sensitive” episode he has filmed to date!
She just made everything so fun. It’s the most like sensitive episode that I did, and I was so worried about it.

Sakura has received praise for her mindset on multiple occasions, and fans love that the two are making steps toward normalizing opposite-sex idol friendships!
